Shakespeare No1 is the number one place to host a quality party evening for you and your guests. Our menus are price structured to cater for every size of budget never compromising on the quality of your occasion.It is our mission to ensure that every little detail has been catered for; to assist and serve you and not only on the evening but also prior to the event, we can take away any pre- event stress and arrange your party for you.

Capacity: The total capacity our venue is 350 people
- No1 lounge bar can hold 200 people
- Our raised level area downstairs can be roped off and seat 25 persons
- The Chapel can hold a 150 capacity or 75 for a meal sitting

Music & Audio/Visual Services:
Our resident DJs plays from 10.30pm on Saturdays although we are happy to arrange different music genres appropriate for your party occasion.
Our experience includes but is not limited to:

Shakespeare No1 has a full range of all the A/V equipment you would need or expect including:
- Projector & Screen
- PC/Projector link up
- Terrestrial/Freeview TV signal
- Microphone (capable of running through in-house speaker system affording great quality)
- Compatible with most audio format
- Smart casual
- During themed events alternative attire will be at the managements descretion
- Hooded clothing, baseball caps, tracksuits ,soiled work clothes & sports trainers are not accepted
RESERVATION BOOKING CONDITIONS
- A minimum spend will apply to any pre -booked lounge area depending on the size of your party
- Free room hire -The Chapel
- Monday - Thursday 4.00pm -11pm
- Venue hire £50.00 deposit [refundable on the night, or deducted from final bill
- Minimum bar spend £250.00
- DJ Cost £30.00 per hour
- Friday & Saturday 7.00pm - 10.30pm
- Venue Hire £100.00 deposit[refunded on the night or deducted from the bill
- Minimum bar spend of £500.00 applies
- DJ hire from £30.00 per hour minimum of 4 hours
- Security doorman [when applicable]?
Please note The Chapel music events operate from 10.30pm - 2.00am during the weekend- party attendees are welcome to party on- complimentary to our normal door charge of £5.00 entrance after 12.00pm.
V.I.P BOOTH AREAS
For something a little different we have two exclusive "champagne" booths with waiter/waitress service which occupy an unrivalled position within The Chapel bar area seating up to 7 guests in each booth. The latest arrival for these areas is 10.30pm.if we are not advised of your late arrival the booking will be treated as cancelled.
