Here at No.1 Shakespeare St. we strive to make your visit the most pleasurable leisure experience possible, whether it's just for a quiet drink, a casual dining experience, or for a more upbeat occasion in our boutique night club 'The Chapel'. The Chapel has hosted prestigious evenings ranging from bands such as Ocean Colour Scene, souls artists Alexander O'Neill, & Kenny Thomas, dance DJs and comedy artists. We are also proud to host Sunday evenings with our Resident Stratford Jazz Club.
The Chapel is also locally renowned for its private parties and unique intimacy. We are delighted to inform you that hire is free for parties of 50 guests or more and smaller gatherings can also be catered for in our Lounge bar. Since opening our doors over four years ago, we have had the pleasure of serving and meeting some fantastic people including locals, holiday visitors, and stars from sports and television.
